Critical Practices is a response to the complex and changing conditions that affect the emergence of new practices, and ideas within the field of cultural production. Its primary focus is to create a dynamic network that facilitates the shaping of cultural discourse by means of artist projects and roundtable discussions. We support at the present time two programs 21STPROJECTS and LaTableRonde with which we intend to provide a platform for the diverse points of views necessary to advance, and sustain the current critical, theoretical, and artistic practices.

21STPROJECTS consists of informal presentations of works by artists who have produced a mature body of work, curatorial projects, screening, and research. LaTableRonde is a forum for the discussion of contemporary cultural issues. Its roundtable format offers participants an opportunity to informally exchange of views, which has historically been a significant aspect of intellectual and artist practice.
