002. MARFA

MARFA: 2009-10

A series based on my experience in Marfa, TX, and the impact that the energy of the constructed state of the town had on me. They are formed through a process of repeated mark-making, painting, and reassembling an original sheet of paper.

18 x 24in (roughly). Pen, tempera, paper, tape.
