LA ESTRELLA. 2009-10
With a focus on composing fragments, all of which have been manipulated in some form, I took clues from my experiences star gazing. Celestial happenings are important to me—for their connection to a history, mythology, the journey that light takes, and expanse of the universe. Mounted on bronze mirrored plexi-glass, the assemblages rest in a nebulous field that, when viewed, involves the viewer immediately within the intricate connections of form.
